Ted Cruz SCHOOLS actress Ellen Page on religious freedom vs gay rights

Ted Cruz was confronted by actress Ellen Page over what she suggested was the discrimination of gays and the larger LGBT community. Cruz quickly turned it around on her, pointing out that it’s Christians who are being persecuted by gays. He also made the point that a gay baker shouldn’t be forced to make a cake for a Christian wedding, pointing out that it’s not just Christians who he is fighting for to be able to follow their conscience. Of course she disagreed, saying the gay baker or Muslim baker or Jewish baker should all be forced to make cakes for everyone. So he basically got her to admit that she’d force everyone to violate their conscience.
Cruz handled Page and the subject very well.

Trump Gives a Glimpse of the Golden Arrow Targeted Toward McConnell/Donohue’s Achilles Heel – Intensely Strategic…

First, an admission: I have seriously underestimated Donald Trump.
After spending more than three years tracking the construct of the GOPe strategy to elect Jeb Bush, and having lost the most single important battle in May 2014 to stop it, I was deflated and disenfranchised.
Few were willing to accept the road-map and sheer level of Machiavellian strategy deployed by the professional political class.  Every single prediction (tripwire) which stems from understanding the construct was triggered in the exact sequence.  We resigned ourselves to the outlook that Tom Donohue, Mitch McConnell and their team were going to pull it off.
Then the wild-card entered the race.   Yesterday, before the speech in New Hampshire last night, Donald Trump gave a press conference.  The part that matters comes after the 15:00 minute mark.  Please watch before continuing:

Stop Screaming and Do Something!

For those who actually want to do something other than make noise, there is no shortage of challenges. Chinese-sponsored gangs, well armed with heavy rifles and automatic weapons, are presently killing elephant at an unprecedented rate. Recently, elephant-rich areas of Tanzania, Mozambique, and Zambia have been all but wiped out. The demand for lion and leopard bones from the Far East is at an all-time high, putting a premium on big cats. Meat hunters are wiping out the antelope and buffalo herds throughout Africa. For many of these animals the safari hunters were their only hope.
