To see what is in front of one's nose needs a constant struggle. One thing that helps toward it is to keep a diary, or, at any rate, to keep some kind of record of one's opinions about important events. Otherwise, when some particularly absurd belief is exploded by events, one may simply forget that one ever held it. Political predictions are usually wrong. But even when one makes a correct one, to discover why one was right can be very illuminating. In general, one is only right when either wish or fear coincides with reality. If one recognizes this, one cannot, of course, get rid of one's subjective feelings, but one can to some extent insulate them from one's thinking and make predictions cold-bloodedly, by the book of arithmetic. In private life most people are fairly realistic. When one is making out one's weekly budget, two and two invariably make four. Politics, on the other hand, is a sort of sub-atomic or non-Euclidean word where it is quite easy for the part to be greater than the whole or for two objects to be in the same place simultaneously. Hence the contradictions and absurdities I have chronicled above, all finally traceable to a secret belief that one's political opinions, unlike the weekly budget, will not have to be tested against solid reality.

Dear Liberal…Here’s Why I’m So Hostile

Lately, I must admit that my hostility towards your political ilk has ramped up, pretty dramatically.  No, it’s not because we, at this point in my life, have a half-black president in the White House, and I’m some closet racist who is becoming increasingly frustrated at the prospects of the White Man’s power slipping through my fingers.  I know that you’ve accused our side of such nonsense, and the thought keeps you warm at night, but I can assure you that it is a comfortable fiction of which you should probably divest yourself.

Now before I waste too much of your time, let’s establish who I’m talking to.  If you believe that we live in an evil, imperialist nation from its founding, and you believe that it should be “fundamentally transformed”, lend me your ears.  If you believe that the free market is the source of the vast majority of society’s ills and wish to have more government intervention into it, I’m talking to you.  If you believe that health care is a basic human right and that government should provide it to everyone, you’re the guy I’m screaming at.  If you think minorities cannot possibly survive in this inherently racist country without handouts and government mandated diversity quotas, you’re my guy.  If you believe that rich people are that way because they’ve exploited their workers and acquired wealth on the backs of the poor, keep reading.  Pretty much, if you trust government more than your fellow American, this post is for you.

Hillary, Corruption, and Organized Crime

It’s been awhile since I last posted, for things have been very busy for me of late. It is mostly good, mind you, for I have completed a lot of work and obtained more clients. I have no cause for complaint. But a lot has been on my mind also.

In a conversation with one of my clients who is, shall we say, not particularly enamored with Hillary Clinton, I was told a story of her corruption during her Senate days. The gentleman was, at the time, engaged in consulting work for a major health insurance provider. He was tasked to find examples of egregious fraud and put a stop to it. Simple enough work, right?

Anyway, he discovered one example where a man was claiming back pain, and was receiving expensive cancer treatment medication to the tune of over $1 million a year. Given the obvious nature of the fraud, the man went to his employer and informed them of it. Case closed, right?

Not so fast. Attempts to rectify the situation resulted in a personal letter from one Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton, exasperated with the “continuing harassment of constituents with clear health conditions.” So the fraudster continued with his scam, bilking $1 million worth of medication each year from the insurance company and doing who-knows-what with it.

Soon after, the man was let go from his consultation gig. I suppose there is such a thing as being too good at your job, when you uncover connections with the Clintons. Like the Kennedy family, the connection with organized crime is no coincidence. Hillary is, in effect, a mob boss.

"Why Milwaukee Burns" Black social breakdown and anti-cop ideology put another American city to the torch.

The war on cops, ideological and sometimes lethal, may be expanding into a broader race war, in which only one side fights. The thugs who torched businesses and police cars, assaulted cops, and shot at firemen in northwestern Milwaukee on Saturday night went after “white bitches,” among other targets. (The riots were inspired by the fatal police shooting of Sylville K. Smith, a black man. Smith, who had an extensive arrest record, including for a shooting, fled from officers after a traffic stop while carrying a stolen handgun; he refused commands to drop the gun. Wisconsin governor Scott Walker has activated the state’s National Guard and declared a state of emergency, but violence continued into Sunday night, with four officers injured, three squad cars damaged, and multiple businesses burned down.) The Black Lives Matter-inspired assassin who murdered five police officers in Dallas in July 2016 said that he wanted to kill white people, as well as white cops. The vitriol that officers working in urban areas now encounter on a daily basis is inflected with racism.

THE KHANNING OF AMERICA

Once again, the American public is being duped. This time it's by Hillary Clinton, the Democratic National Party, and Pakistani-American immigration lawyer Khizr Khan. They say that birds of a feather flock together. It couldn’t be more true than when we are speaking about this group of pathological liars.

Khan, as we all know, because of the “heart-wrenching” tales spun by the liberal media following his DNC appearance, is the Gold Star parent of a hero, his deceased son, Captain Humayun Khan, who was killed by a suicide bomber in Iraq in 2004 while serving in the U.S. Army. As a speaker at the Democratic National Convention, Khan was presented to the public as a grieving parent who loves America, the Constitution, and the American way. He even went so far as to wave around his pocket version of the Constitution and challenge Donald Trump: “Have you read the Constitution? I will lend you my copy.”

America – you’ve been conned once again.

Khan wasn’t at the DNC with the purpose of honoring his fallen son. His appearance was political theater intended to lure Donald Trump into a scheme, baiting him with the Muslim immigration theme. He asked if Trump had read the Constitution, questioning the constitutionality of a temporary ban on Muslim immigration as Trump has proposed in the past.
