If you want to watch part of Netanyahu’s UN speech on militant Islam, THIS IS IT

The Nazis believed in a master race. The militant Islamists believe in a master faith. They just disagree about who among them will be the master… of the master faith. That’s what they truly disagree about.”

Voice of Israel Interview: Jonathan Spyer on Gaza, Syria, and ISIS

Just before leaving for Syria, Jerusalem reporter Jonathan Spyer tells VOI’s Eve Harow why a local said to him, ‘Suria Rach,’ or ‘Syria is gone.’ These two video interviews are a must-watch for anyone interested in the current chaotic state of the Levant.

Three Choices’ and the bitter harvest of denial: How dissimulation about Islam is fuelling genocide in the Middle East by Mark Durie

The West is in the grip of theological illiteracy.  It has stubbornly refused to grasp the implications of a global Islamic revival which has been gaining steam for the best part of a century.  The Islamic Movement looks back to the glory days of conquest as Islam’s finest hour, and seeks to revive Islamic supremacy through jihad and sacrifice.  It longs for a truly Islamic state – the caliphate reborn – and considers jihad to be the God-given means to usher it in.

Fear and the rhetoric of 'unprecedented' barbarity by Mark Durie

Many leaders have been stating that the Islamic State’s actions are ‘unprecedented’, ‘extreme’, ‘unique’, or even ‘eccentric’. ..

The actions of Islamic State’s adherents are morally repugnant in the extreme, but only by applying historical amnesia and selective vision could one claim that their evil is unique or unprecedented.

Believers and Deceivers by Peter Smith

Mark Durie is an Anglican pastor and research fellow at the Centre for the Study of Islam and Other Faiths at the Melbourne School of Theology. I hadn’t read his book The Third Choice: Islam, Dhimmitude and Freedom, published in 2010, until the other day. It is a must read for anyone wanting or needing to understand Islam. In the latter category, I would particularly single out genuinely moderate people who are Muslims and also non-Muslim apologists for Islam. Clearly, both groups have no idea what Islam stands for and are in dire need of education.

CNN: Young Yazidi girl’s capture and incredible escape from ISIS

When ISIS attacked the Yazidis a few months ago they captured this young 15-year-old girl and sent her to a house in Mosul, then to Fallujah where she was forced to marry a Sheik. She managed to escape but her life has been forever changed by what she saw and went through herself.
Watch to the end to find out why she feels so guilty for escaping:
